Troubleshooting Common Event Issues

Solutions for common problems like event submission errors or media upload failures.

Common Issues and Solutions

Encountering a problem? Here are some common issues and how to resolve them.

Problem: I can't submit my event for verification.

  • Solution: The "Submit for Verification" button is only active for events in a Draft or Declined status. If your event is already pending or approved, you cannot resubmit it. First, ensure you have completed all mandatory fields in each step of the event creation process. Look for red error messages that indicate what's missing.
  • Problem: My image or video upload fails.

  • Solution: This is usually due to file size or format.
  • Check Size: Posters should be under 5MB. Reels and Memory videos should be under 20MB.
  • Check Format: We recommend standard formats like JPG, PNG, or WEBP for images, and MP4 for videos.
  • Check Connection: A weak or unstable internet connection can also cause uploads to fail. Please try again on a stable connection.
  • Problem: My event was declined. What do I do?

  • Solution: A declined event is not the end! Our team provides a reason for the decline.
  • 1. Go to your Organizer Dashboard.

    2. Find the declined event and click Manage.

    3. The reason for the decline will be noted. Address the specific issues mentioned (e.g., unclear description, low-quality poster).

    4. Once you've made the corrections, you can submit the event for verification again.

Problem: I can't edit my event's date or ticket prices.

  • Solution: For security and to protect attendees who have already purchased tickets, certain critical details of an Approved event are locked. This includes dates, times, and ticket prices. If you need to make a critical change to an approved event, please contact our support team through the Help Center.
